A delegation of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering paid a working visit to M.S. Ramaya’s University of applied sciences (Bangalore, India)

On March 12-25, 2015 a delegation of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering paid a working visit to M.S. Ramaya’s University of applied sciences (Bangalore, India). Our university was represented by professor, D.Sc. in engineering, head of the chair of building mechanics Lidia N. Kondratyeva, and post-graduate student Alena Vedernikova. They visited M.S. Ramaya’s University of applied sciences in order to strengthen the international cooperation within the Memorandum of understanding concluded between the universities in October, 2014. Within the visit programme our delegates met the university’s top-management, teachers and professors of the faculty of engineering and technology and the faculty of design and arts of M.S. Ramaya’s university of applied sciences. As a result of these meetings there were defined areas of scientific activity of the both universities, most interesting and perspective spheres of scientific cooperation. Moreover, the delegates had a chance to get acquainted with the current state of engineering production in India.

The meetings were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The cooperation with M.S. Ramaya’s university of applied sciences tends to be perspective both in scientific and education spheres.
