At the end of February students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering had a chance to participate in the “Open lesson” organized by “Stroitelny trest” company, leader of brick house building in Saint Petersburg.

“Stroitelny trest” company regularly gives such open lessons to students of engineering educational institutions of Saint Petersburg. Excursion for students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering was held at the site in Novoselye village. 15 2^nd-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management, general construction faculty and Faculty of Civil Engineering could have a look at construction process of a large project.

“Open lesson held by “Stroitelny trest” company is a wonderful addition to the knowledge we receive at our university, - says student of group 12-C-2 Efim Tuchin. – I think students need to visit buildings under construction, to watch the reinforcement being tied, brick set, services installed. We asked numerous questions: building technologies, difference between brick constructions and brick and monolith constructions, summer internships for students at the sites of Stroitelny trest company. Representatives of the company were glad to answer the questions, expressed interest in cooperation with Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering and helped us get acquainted with our professions closer”.
