Chairman of the FEM Student Scientific Society was trained at the school of young innovators

From March 15 to April 21, Pavel Kharin, a third-year student of the SPbGASU Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), the chairman of the FEM Student Scientific Society studied at the VI Scientific and Practical School of Young Innovators "UMNIK-VOENMEKH".

Young innovators – students, undergraduates, graduate students, young employees of universities and scientific institutions of St Petersburg received the skills to present their ideas and learned how to apply for competitions of various scientific foundations; increased their chances of winning the "Umnik" contest (the grant is 500 thousand rubles) and "Start" contest (the grant is 3–4 million rubles); prepared for the Student Startup contest (the grant is up to 1 million rubles for the development of innovative ideas of undergraduate and graduate students). “At the lectures and trainings, I got a lot of information about patent law, the stages of a startup and its main risks, I got acquainted with various success stories,” said Pavel.

The SPbGASU Student Scientific Society will now assist students at a higher level in preparing applications for submission to contests and grants from the Innovation Promotion Fund and the Fund for Promotion of Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere.
