Contemporary issues of modern engineering were discussed at the extended meeting held in the University

Within the framework of the 68th International scientific and practical conference of students, postgraduate students and young scientists “Contemporary issues of modern engineering” on April 15, 2015 at the Chair of Management there was held an extended meeting where representatives of the community of professionals and representatives of the fundamental chair of management in engineering were invited.

Specialists of a number of engineering organizations and unions such as CJSC “Geostroy”, “Baltstroy98”, “Federal Project Institute” LLC, Noncommercial partnership “Union of engineers of Saint Petersburg” took an active part in discussion of students’ reports, asked questions, gave practical advice on further development of scientific projects.

Students showed their best, thanked for critics and gave detailed answers to questions of specialists. Particular attention was paid to report of students of the management education programmer – K. Tonkikh, M. Egorova, Yu. Fedorova – who studied issued concerning development of professional orientation methods. Head of the controlling department of the Noncommercial partnership “Union of engineers of Saint Petersburg” Artur V. Osipov emphasized the importance of the activity in successful education of engineering specialists and shared experience in professional orientation. In 2014 Noncommercial partnership “Union of engineers of Saint Petersburg” together with Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering established and is still supporting the specialized engineering class in secondary education school №109 of Saint Petersburg Primorsky district.

According to the feedback of guests the meeting was successful and had a positive impression about education level of students. As a result of the meeting best students got preliminary job offers to undergo internships and future career prospects.
