In the course of the works of the fundamental Chair of Management in engineering on May 14, 2015 there was held an excursion about a site of “Etalon” Group of companies – “Tsar’s capital” – for students of the education programme “Management” of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering. The excursion started with a safety induction giving students hard hats, after which the students were invited to the site itself. During the excursion the students studied all stages of construction of a residential complex starting with an underground phase and ending with a fine finish of ready apartments. The students found an opportunity to watch automated stationary hoists work and demonstration of modern hydro-isolation technologies used at the site very useful and interesting. The students were impressed by building services which were shown at one of the underground floors of ready buildings and fully automated parking lots. Moreover students paid attention to the infrastructure of the residential complex; in particular the church, which is situated next to the complex, was reconstructed by “Etalon” Group of companies and is a decoration of the given complex now.     

The students thanked specialists of the company for an interesting and educational excursion and also for the opportunity to study all peculiarities of an integrated development project, as during this semester they study construction organization and write course works in the subject.
