On March 18, 2015 in Saint Petersburg, on Konniushennaya square there took place a meeting devoted to the first anniversary of reunification the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.

Administration and students of our university participated in various festive events.

At the meeting chairperson of Simferopol city council Viktor Ageev addressed citizens who were at the meeting: “The Crimea feels Russian support, and the support of Saint Petersburg. Today Simferopol gets the equipment, sports grounds for schools and etc. from Saint Petersburg”.

At the meeting there were mayor of Saint Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko, chairperson of Saint Petersburg Legislative Council Viacheslav Makarov, vice-governor – director of Saint Petersburg mayor’s administration Alexander Govorunov, chairperson of the City council of Simferopol Viktor Ageev and chief federal inspector of Saint Petersburg Viktor Minenko.

There was held a concert where took part Mikhail Boyarsky, solo singer of Mariinsky theatre Vladimir Samsonov and other famous artists and art groups of Saint Petersburg.
