Every year on 11 February, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated at the initiative of the UN. The holiday is a reminder of the need to ensure full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls, their empowerment, and the further achievement of gender equality.

SPbGASU employs women scientists who make a great contribution to the development of domestic and world science. They are the authors of monographs, articles, textbooks and study guides, authoritative experts in their field.
