On 6th December, 2016 a conference «Modern translucent designs in architecture of accessible habitation» which teachers of SPSUACE participated in, took place at the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering. The company VEKA Rus with the support of ТК 465 "Buildings", Open Company "InzhSStroyservice", Open Company TSDK "Contact" became the organizer of the conference.

Representatives of more than 30 design organizations, architectural workshops, and industrial enterprises from St.-Petersburg, Moscow, Arkhangelsk and other cities were participants of this big action.

The participants of the conference  presented a project of new all-Russia State Standard on translucent designs, analyzed the application of operating State Standard 56926 in the system of architecture-building designing, told about modern window technologies and their use in modern construction.
