On February, 28 at the Assembly hall of the Academic council of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture ad civil engineering there took place the General annual meeting of the members of Saint Petersburg union of construction companies uniting over 400 large, medium and small companies. Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering has been a member of “Soiuzpetrostroy” since 1995. At the meeting there was made a report by the vice-rector for development and advanced education of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering, D.Sc. in economics, associate professor Alexander I. Solodkiy.     

The Union is the biggest and the oldest business community of civil engineers in Russia and also one of the cofounders of the Russian union of engineers and Union of construction societies and organizations, At present time Soiuzpetrostroy is maintain an active support of small and large construction business companies in Saint Petersburg, constantly enlarging the number of members by new companies and playing an important role in developing investment and construction complex of Saint Petersburg.
