On January, 31 there took place the first meeting in 2013 of the Academic Council of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.

In the course of the meeting there were made several reports. The first report was presented by the vice-rector for academic activity Viktor B. Zverev devoted to self-analysis of SPSUACE in regards of the future state accreditation of the higher education institute. Rector of the university Evgeny I. Rybnov talked about the admission rules in 2013, about the results of the activity carried out by the faculties and chairs in 2012 and about the efficiency indices in relation to the work of the chairs in 2013. There were also discussed questions concerning improvement in the systems of professors’ salary. Faculty of Civil Engineering was awarded the certificate “Best faculty of SPSUACE 2012” and the Chair of Construction Materials and Technologies was given the certificate “Best chair of SPSUACE 2012”. The second best chair is the chair of economics of entrepreneurship and innovations, and the third best chair is the chair of reinforced concrete and stone constructions.
