On November, 29 I the “Music Hall” theatre there took place the final concert of the Second Student Art Festival “I am young!”. Semi-final winners – best teams of higher educational institutions of Saint Petersburg: Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering, Saint Petersburg state pediatric medicine university, Saint Petersburg state university of culture and arts, Russian state pedagogical university named after A.I. Herzen and Saint Petersburg state university of water communications.   

Together with the six best higher educational institutions in the concert there also participated soloist of the Mariinsky theatre Vladimir Samsonov, soloist of the Mikhailovsky theatre Elvira Khabibulina, and soloist of Boris Eifmann national ballet theatre Vera Arbuzova and soloist of the Mikhailovsky theatre Andrey Kasyanenko and also a special guest – honored actor of the Russian Federation Tatyana Bulanova.

As in the semifinal the participants were asked to prepare a performance reflecting the topic “Hero of nowadays” and each team presented its unique view. The performance of our students consisted of brilliant choreography and vocal units as well as oral speech. The support of our team was also spectacular: the fans made chants, read poems supporting their friends.  

The board members said that it was really a challenge to make up their mind and select the best team as all the participants were good at their performances. And the stage and screen, deputy of the Executive chamber Anastasia Melnikova admitted that she had given the highest marks to all teams. Chairman of the Council of rectors of Saint Petersburg higher educational institutions V.N. Vasiliev awarded students of SPSUACE with a laureate diploma of the Festival “I am young!”, and the show host said that our students are different from the others in that they really build our city and our future being real heroes of nowadays! We agree with this high estimate and congratulate SPSUACE’s team on the excellent performance!
