On November, 2 in the assembly hall of the Academic council of SPSUACE there was held meeting of vice-rectors for scientific activity from higher educational institutions of Saint Petersburg. Guests of the university were greeted by the first vice-rector Sergey A. Evtyukov. Representative of Elsevier Company made a report representing issues of company resources. The company’s development - an abstract database of world science Scopus - is included into the “Exemplary list of criteria of the All-Russian estimate of efficiency of higher educational institutions activity. Vice-rectors for scientific activity also discussed questions concerning organization of a Consortium of higher educational institutions for subscription to Elsevier resources and studied the offers for arrangement of test (free of charge) access to resources of the Consortium of higher educational institutions for an unlimited period. There were also discussed possible ways of further cooperation between the participants of the Consortium. At the end of the meeting guests of the university were invited to the excursion about the Museum of history of Petersburg brick in SPSUACE.
