On 8 February, Russian scientists celebrate their professional holiday. On this day in 1724, the Russian Academy of Sciences was founded.
Day of Russian Science is a celebration of artists and creators, those who conduct tireless intellectual research, whose inventions make people's lives easier.
The St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering made a great contribution to Russian science, having given the country outstanding architects, engineers, and scientists.
Today, SPbGASU conducts research aimed at creating high-tech products and meeting the needs of modern production and society. The practical results of these studies are widely used in Russia and abroad.
Currently, the university is implementing two innovative educational projects - “Modern educational technologies to ensure occupational safety in the construction industry” and “Innovative methods for developing digital professional competencies of students and specialists in the construction industry”. With these projects for the period from 2022 to 2026, SPbGASU acquired the status of a federal innovation platform.
Every year, young scientists from our university receive grants and subsidies from the Government of St Petersburg. In 2023, the winners were honored at the gala meeting of the XXVI St Petersburg Assembly of Young Scientists and Specialists.
