On June 6, 2014 rector of Sofia university of architecture, engineering and geodesy (Bulgaria) Krasimir Petrov visited Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering. During the official meeting with rector of SPSUACE Evgeny I. Rybnov there were summed up results of cooperation activity of the universities and new possibilities and perspectives. Visiting program included Museum of history of SPSUACE, Museum of history of Petersburg brick, fundamental library, faculties and laboratories of the university.

Agreement on cooperation between the higher educational institutions was signed in 2005. Within the frame of the Agreement student internship exchanges are held annually (engineering, architecture and geodesy). Principal purpose of the internship is assignment of theoretical knowledge of students, practical study of the profession, international experience in the field. During the internship students get acquainted with companies, their work, visit sites; they acquire practical knowledge and experience necessary for future specialists. Moreover they get material for course works, graduation theses.

In 2014 students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of SPSUACE undergo the practical internship in Sofia, Bulgaria.
