On 18 June, the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering opened a coworking space for students, created with the support of TECHNONICOL Corporation, a long-standing partner of the university.

The new 178-square-meter space is designed for independent work, meetings, socializing, project preparation, and student events. It provides comfortable conditions for studying and interacting outside of the lecture halls. Contemporary design solutions were used in the space's design.

Svetlana Golovina, First Vice-Rector of SPbGASU, welcomed the opening participants and guests. She thanked TECHNONICOL for its cooperation and emphasized the importance of the new space for the university community.

"I'm confident our students will love this space. It's a great place to meet, work on projects, socialize, and bring interesting creative ideas to life. Independent work and interaction with other students are integral parts of the learning process, and the new, modern space will make it more comfortable and effective. The doors of this 'space of new opportunities' will always be open, and I hope students will find a second home here when they're not attending classes," said Svetlana Golovina.

Vice President Evgeny Voilov participated in the event on behalf of TECHNONICOL Corporation. In his welcoming remarks, he noted: "Modern specialist training requires not only a strong educational program but also an environment in which students can work as a team, discuss ideas, and share experiences. Opening this space at SPbGASU is part of TECHNONICOL's systematic collaboration with specialized universities. It is important for us to create conditions that help future specialists gain confidence in their profession and better understand the challenges of the construction industry."

Words of gratitude were expressed to the SPbGASU staff and specialists who participated in the preparation and reconstruction of the space. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to representatives of the university divisions who coordinated the work, provided architectural support for the project, and provided comprehensive security.

"Today, it's important for the university not only to ensure a high level of specialist training but also to create conditions for the exchange of ideas, teamwork, and the emergence of new initiatives. The opening of this space expands SPbGASU's capabilities and marks another step in the development of a modern educational environment. I am confident that this space will be in demand by students and will help them become more actively involved in university life," noted SPbGASU Rector Evgeny Rybnov.

The creation of the new space is the result of effective collaboration between the university and businesses. This collaboration has created a modern and comfortable environment that will serve as another platform for developing student initiatives and preparing future specialists for their professional careers.

The SPbGASU coworking space is located in room 100-C (on the ground floor under the cafeteria, entrance from the main building).
