SPbGASU students are participants of the round table
"Best practices of preparatory faculties in Russia"
At the end of April, Tomsk Polytechnic University hosted the All-Russian Round Table of International Students and Postgraduates “Best Practices of Preparatory Faculties in Russia”, which was attended by representatives of the SPbGASU International Students Council.

✔ The round table was the final event of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Scientific Initiative of Foreign Students and Postgraduates", held from April 26 to 29. Participants from various Russian regions exchanged their experience of studying at universities, and also discussed the role the preparatory faculty played in their adaptation to the educational process, getting to know the culture and history of the country.
Master students of the Faculty of Architecture Antonia Angelova and Navindu Devaraja and students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Nadezhda Zakusilova and Elena Romanovsky made a presentation on the preparation of foreign applicants for admission to SPbGASU, presented a video about the extracurricular life of students in the university and successfully defended a report on their personal experience of studying at the Preparatory Faculty in our university. The SPbGASU representatives won in the nomination "The best presentation of a collaborative project". Antonia Angelova and Elena Romanovsky were recognized as the best speakers at the round table. In addition, the conference organizers highly appreciated the work of the SPbGASU International Relations Division, sending a letter of thanks to Yulia Ivanova, Deputy Head of the Department.
In addition to educational activities, the participants had a city tour: they visited one of the main local attractions - the famous water tower, the Museum of Tomsk History, which displays a model of the fortress of the 17th-18th centuries, the main building of the Tomsk Polytechnic University and the Mineralogical Museum named after. I. K. Bazhenov.
“I am very glad to visit Siberia. This is a magical land with a unique architectural heritage that testifies to a glorious history,” Antonia Angelova shared her impressions. She also expressed her gratitude to the SPbGASU managers for the opportunity to participate in the conference in person.
