SPbGASU teachers are awarded the Prize of the St. Petersburg Government

The winners of the St. Petersburg Government awards for outstanding achievements in the field of higher education and secondary vocational education in 2022 have been determined. Among them is the collaborative writing team of authors Yuri Rutman, Professor of the SPbGASU Department of construction mechanics and Nadezhda Ostrovskaya, Associate Professor of this Department.


✔ The teachers were recognized as the best in the nomination "Scientific achievements that contribute to improving the quality of training of specialists and highly qualified personnel" for the monograph "Dynamics of structures: seismic resistance, seismic protection, wind loads."

Yuri Rutman is a visiting professor of the Department of construction mechanics, a member of the Federation of Cosmonautics and the Scientific and Technical Council at the Center for Seismic Construction. His scientific interests are the theory of elasticity, the theory of plasticity and the dynamics of structures. He was awarded the medal "Veteran of Labour" and the badge "Inventor of the USSR". Yuri Rutman has participated in about 50 scientific conferences and is the author of 37 inventions.

Nadezhda Ostrovskaya has participated and organized more than 10 scientific and technical conferences, forums and seminars. She specializes in the mechanics of a deformable solid body, as well as the dynamics and stability of structures. Nadezhda Ostrovskaya was awarded the prize of the St. Petersburg Government in the field of scientific and pedagogical activity in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
