Stanislav Evtyukov, head of the SPbGASU Department of Transport Systems, took part in the round table “Continuity of generations in science.” The event dedicated to the Day of Russian Science was held on 7 February at the election headquarters of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg.

The round table discussed the place of science in human life, priority areas, prospects for the development of continuity in science and other topics. The participants were heads of St Petersburg universities, students, graduate students, including holders of presidential grants in the field of science and technology.

According to the organizers of the meeting, the state is ready to support the promising developments of young scientists. The issue of training qualified engineering personnel is acute, and the St Petersburg Higher School is addressing it today.

Stanislav Evtyukov said that he was glad to take part in the event. The topic of his speech was the history of the Evtyukov family at the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
