Stanislav Evtyukov participated in the development of a project for Kamchatka

On 21–23 September, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky hosted a satellite event of the Congress of Young Scientists.

On the basis of the Kamchatka State University named after Vitus Bering, leading Russian scientists, representatives of regional authorities and the business community joined forces and proposed solutions to acute issues for the Kamchatka Territory.

Head of the department of transport systems, DSc in Engineering, associate professor Stanislav Evtyukov, took part in the project group “Improving the efficiency of snow removal and ice control in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky”.

During the entire event, a representative of our university worked in the project team together with colleagues from other regions and participated in the final defense of the project.

After defending the projects, the head of Kamchatka, Vladimir Solodov, shared his opinion on the work done by scientists together with representatives of the regional authorities. Addressing those present, he asked for a more precise formulation of topics proposed for further elaboration, so that in the future they would have the opportunity to receive practical implementation. The Governor emphasized that the main thing is that the results of the work done should not remain on the slides or at the level of discussion, but be the basis for further practical activities.

Satellite events of the Congress of Young Scientists are held in the Russian regions as part of the Decade of Science and Technology program announced by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on 25 April 2022 in order to strengthen the role of science and technology in solving the most important tasks for the development of society and the country.
