SPbGASU held a meeting between students of our university and the manager of the regional interaction department of the All-Russian student project “Your Move” Polina Bulatova. She spoke about the conditions and wide opportunities, including financial ones, provided by this project to university students, and the students shared with her their ideas that they plan to implement with its help.

“Your Move” is the country’s main student project; it is implemented by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and is included in the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities.” Its goal is to create conditions for the generation, development and promotion of projects and initiatives of active youth.

  • This year saw the fourth season of the project.

“For first-year students receiving education for the first time, the “Pioneer” track works. It will allow you to express yourself, immerse yourself in the student community, learn about its capabilities, and also get acquainted with the ecosystem of the country’s youth policy. Based on the results of the track, 400 winners will be determined who will receive valuable prizes and gifts from the “Your Move” project and partners, including the largest Russian companies: Russian Railways, Rosatom, Sberbank,” said Polina Bulatova.

She also drew the students’ attention to the “I Do” contest track, aimed at identifying a leadership position among students of any year of study, whose projects involve others in changes in the country. 200 best projects of the contest will be selected, and the leaders will receive a prize of 1 million rubles. The award is not earmarked funds, so they can be used at your own discretion.

In addition, they talked about the opportunity to become ambassadors of the project, whose main mission is to tell as many students as possible about the “Your Move” project. Such experience allows you to develop public speaking skills, become noticeable in your region, and improve leadership skills.

The “Your Move” Expert Center will also be useful for students. With its help, you can take part in various surveys and studies (including initiating them yourself) in order to use their results in coursework or final qualifying papers. In addition, here you can share ideas to improve the environment of your university and educational institutions in general.

Those who like to participate in discussions will be interested in the “Debattle” project, the goal of which is to organize debates on various topics between student teams. To participate in it you need to register on the “Your Move” platform. From April to June of this year, regional stages will be held, in June-August - the semi-finals as part of the Summer Forum Campaign, and in December - the final of the all-Russian level.

“An equally popular program is the organization of paid internships in large companies. As part of this internship, the student is assigned his own project, which he completes under the guidance of a mentor. At the same time, you can create your own work schedule, which is convenient for students. This is an opportunity to prove yourself and get a good chance of employment,” said Polina Bulatova.

Representatives of the SPbGASU student council shared their initiatives that they want to implement with the help of the “Your Move” project. Among them is the organization of a student historical and cultural ball in St Petersburg; creation of an animal shelter; development of a website for those involved in arts and crafts, where they can offer their works; creation of a student architectural association.

“At the meeting, students learned a lot about the possibilities of the all-Russian project “Your Move” and intend to become its active participants. Now we are planning to organize a meeting with the ambassadors of the project at our university, as well as attend its presentation at another university in order to expand interaction between students of different universities,” said Irina Nuryeva, head of the SPbGASU Youth Policy Division.
