Utility model of D.Sc. in engineering, dean of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building, head of the chair transport-technological machines, professor Sergey A. Evtiukov “A device for improvement of efficient using diesel oil” was registered in the Federal service on intellectual property. There was issued Utility Model Patent of the Russian Federation № 151483, exclusive rights for which belong to the Federal state budgetary education institution of higher professional education “Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering”.

The given utility model refers to instruments used for increasing efficiency of fuel oil usage, in particular for efficient usage of diesel oil in combustion engines. During the work of power diesel engines working modes change. Diesel oil of different quality and hydrocarbon composition is filled into fuel supply system. Regarding this for efficient usage of diesel oil it is necessary to define fuel rating of the used oil by aniline point and depending on its initial value to change the fuel rating of the original diesel oil. The device is aimed at increasing economical efficiency of diesel oil and at the same time at decreasing toxic potential of burnt gas by changing fuel rating of the used oil.
