On the Day of Russian Science, 8 February, the Paraweb company, a creator of digital solutions for educational organizations, published the results of a new rating, which for the first time will allow for a comprehensive and objective assessment of the websites of higher educational institutions in Russia.
“We conceived this rating to draw attention to the best practices and, thus, contribute to increasing the competitiveness of domestic universities. A university website today is a tool for strategic digital communications that helps to speak with different target audiences - from current and future employees to applicants, academic and industrial partners. We involved in the expert assessment practitioners who develop and implement digital projects, have extensive experience and insight in the field of digital products, and specialists from universities in the country, whose projects in the field of digitalization have become widely known,” said Emil Akhtyamov, director of Paraweb.
The company published criteria for evaluating sites and clarified that they were formed together with the professional community. The creators of the rating specify that the methodology will be further developed.
In the pilot version of the rating, the website of the Siberian State Medical University took first place, scoring 98.24 points.
- The SPbGASU website is in fifth place with a score of 92.94 points.
