On 12 February, specialists from the SPbGASU Division for Student Entrepreneurship and Career organized a meeting with representatives of the Samolet Group of Companies. The lecture was offered to the fourth-year students of the Faculty of Architecture and everyone else.

Denis Markov, chief master plan specialist at Architectural Workshop No. 1, told the students about the work of architects in their company: what departments they work in, what projects they work on, what tools they use, what opportunities the company provides for professional development, what competencies are required. He also shared his personal experience, talking about his path in the profession.

Elizaveta Khmelevskaya, project manager of the youth programs development department of Samolet GC, once again reminded the students about the MATCH paid internship program and other opportunities for young professionals.

After the speakers' presentations, students actively asked questions. They were especially interested in what skills they should have at the time of graduation and what programs would be useful to them in their future work. They also tried to learn as much as possible about internships, practicums and employment in the company.

The meetings with companies representatives for students of different faculties and years of study are organized by the SPbGASU Division for Student Entrepreneurship and Career on regular basis. In addition, the DSEC employees help students with job searches, writing resumes, provide career guidance and career support, and promote the development of students’ professional competencies in consolidation with partner organizations.
