invite You to participate in the Second international scientific practical conference
“Transformation of transport communication spaces of cities. Saint Petersburg. Baltiyskiy railway station square”
Aim to the conference is to create a platform for dialogue and cooperation of universities, training specialists in the area of urban planning and land development together with project enterprises responsible for the transformation of urban spaces; development of specialty “Urban construction and economy”; practical application of modern technologies at the example of transformation of the Baltiyskiy railway station square. Within the frame of the conference four round-table discussions are planned and variants of transport and urban construction solutions will be developed. Round-table discussions will be dedicated to urban building process: work with a client and society; identification of problems concerning the area under analysis; development of concepts; validation of the concepts by qualitative and quantitative methods; promotion, defense and monitoring of a concept.
Four groups of specialists are invited to develop the above mentioned variants; experienced professors as well as green urban builders from Saint Petersburg, Irkutsk, Arkhangelsk, Moscow, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Paris, Dresden, Vienna, Brussels, Tallinn and Helsinki are included into the team. The expert view will be provided by famous architects: academician of the Russian academy of architectural and constructional sciences Yu.P. Bocharov, academician of the Russian academy of architectural and constructional sciences V.F. Nazarov, D.Sc. in architecture S.V. Sementsov, honoured artist of Russia B.V. Nikolashchenko, honoured artist of Russia I.E. Grishechkina, V.A. Geyer, PhD in engineering S.A. Vaksman, specialists in transport planning M.Ya. Blinkin, L.I. Sverdlin, Yu. Khuviarinen, and representatives of the authorities of Saint Petersburg.
