SPbGASU vocal and choir studio exists since 2009.
To date, the studio runs the following classes:
The studio's repertoire includes works of Russian and foreign classics, sacred music, folk songs, pop-jazz compositions, works by contemporary composers.
Despite the technical specialization, many talented, musically and artistically gifted young people study at SPbGASU. Boys and girls are engaged in the choir, many defend the honor of our university at competitions and festivals of the city and country as part of ensembles and solo.
For more than ten years of the studio existence, soloists and ensembles have repeatedly become laureates of city, regional and international competitions, such as "Grooving on Vasilyevsky", "Academy", "Northern Belcanto", "Anticipation of Christmas", "Tsarskoselsky", "LIKI Session", "Student Spring", "ART STUDIO" and others.
Three times our teams have won the Grand Prix.
Students of the vocal and choir studio performed at the best events in the city: the Scarlet Sails 2018 festival on Palace Square, at the ceremony of honoring the best graduates of St Petersburg universities in the atrium of the Peter and Paul Fortress in 2018 and 2019.
The SPbGASU choir annually performs at one of the world's most prestigious concert venues - in the Great Hall of the Academic Chapel named after M. I. Glinka.
Choral battles are one of the modern and very popular activities of choirs and vocal ensembles. We also take part in them.

Classes are held at the "Kirpich" student creativity center (SCC) at: 123/5, Fontanka river emb., on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 21:00.
