opportunities of mass housing quarters construction (offered in the 1960-1980s);
upgrade of school education system, educational buildings and use of schoolyards.

determination of kinds of cooperation among architects, investors and municipal authorities within project and engineering process (the department cooperates with American experts in organizing seminars and advanced training courses);
execution of pilot designs;
hosting of students’ competitions in design of low-rise complexes and void buildings reconstruction to redesign (supported by engineering and investment companies);
project development connected with scientific research or contests.
