International Youth Competition HORIZON-2100
The autonomous non-profit organization "Center for Modeling Future in Education, Science, Economics and the Social and Humanitarian Sphere" is holding an international youth competition of scientific, scientific-practical and sci-fi works HORIZON-2100.
✔ The purpose of the competition is to motivate thinking young people from different countries with an active life position to carry out a creative search for scientific, scientific and practical ideas, hypotheses, science fiction ideas about the distant future, to identify and encourage the best who are passionate about scientific creativity, analysis and forecasting the future.
Nominations:
- for the best scientific (research, scientific-practical) work, reflecting the scientific vision of the future of the planet and humanity at the turn of 2100;
- for the best sci-fi work – sci-fi story, essay, reportage, describing imaginary innovative and original ideas, fantastic events, phenomena and future prospects at the turn of 2100, giving them a scientific explanation.
The profile directions:
- future of the humankind;
- future of society;
- future of the global world;
- future of the science;
- future of the technologies;
- future of the Russian and World economy;
- future of energetics;
- future of environment and sustainability;
- future of human habitats.
Young people from any country, of any nationalities aged 16 to 26 are invited to participate.
The competition winners will be invited to the International Youth Forum "MIR-2100: Global Trends and the Future through the Eyes of the Young" in Moscow in February 2023, where diplomas will be awarded.
