P. G. Demidov Yaroslavl State University is holding the Interregional competition of best practices in the field of media volunteering “The Main Thing Is Nearby”. The competition is being implemented as part of the Interregional comprehensive project for media volunteers “The Main Thing Is Nearby” with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
The competition is held with the aim of creating a base of effective solutions for organizing activities in the field of media volunteering. The competition is open to representatives of educational organizations of higher education, professional educational organizations, public associations, Dobro.Centers and non-profit organizations.
The competition will be held in three stages. To apply for the competition, you must fill out the online form before 31 October. One organization can submit an unlimited number of applications. The form includes the name of the practice, region of implementation, contact information of the author, team members, link to information resources of the practice, description (up to 1000 printed characters with spaces), photographic materials.
The second stage of the competition involves the assessment of competition materials by an expert commission until 9 November. The commission may include representatives of federal government bodies, experts in the field of voluntary (volunteer) activities, media specialists, experts in the field of media volunteering, representatives of educational organizations of higher education, professional educational organizations, public associations, Dobro.Centers and non-profit organizations.
At the third stage of the competition (until 30 November), based on the results of the expert assessment, an electronic collection of best media volunteering practices will be compiled and published.
