The Committee for Science and Higher Education of St Petersburg conducts a competitive selection for the right to receive subsidies in 2023 by individuals who are young scientists, young candidates of sciences of universities, industry and academic institutions located in St Petersburg.
Subsidies are provided on a gratuitous and non-refundable basis to individuals - young scientists, young candidates of sciences from universities, industry and academic institutions located on the territory of St Petersburg in order to reimburse the costs incurred by them in 2023 in connection with the implementation of scientific and / or scientific and technical projects.
The competition is open to:
- young scientists employed by universities, industry and academic institutions located on the territory of St Petersburg, as of the date of filing an application for participation in the competitive selection at the age of up to 35 years inclusive (except for students of universities and PhD students of universities, industry and academic institutions located on the territory of St Petersburg), who are not individual entrepreneurs, engaged in scientific and / or scientific and technical activities, without an academic degree;
- young candidates of sciences employed by universities, industry and academic institutions located on the territory of St Petersburg, as of the date of filing an application for participation in the competitive selection at the age of up to 35 years inclusive, who are not individual entrepreneurs, engaged in scientific and / or scientific and technical activities, having a PhD degree.
The maximum grant for young scientists is 100 thousand rubles, for young candidates of sciences - 150 thousand rubles.
