Online school "Umschool Academy" and the Higher School of Television of Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov invites students to participate in the marathon “My Beloved University”.

The goal of the marathon is to attract the attention of potential applicants and disseminate information about Russian universities through the creative works of students in the format of short vertical videos.

Deadlines: acceptance of works - from 27 March to 21 April. To participate in the competition, students need to create a work in accordance with the technical requirements of the VK Clips service and using a special soundtrack, upload it to their VKontakte page, add the hashtags #мойлюбимыйвуз, #умскул to the entry. Videos must be open for viewing by everyone (the page and personal messages of the user participating in the competition must be open) until the end of the marathon.

Announcement of winners: On 26 April, the results of the competition will be posted in the official community of the online school “Umschool Academy” on VKontakte page.

The winners of the marathon will be awarded the following prizes:

• first place: Apple iPad 10.9 2022 tablet for study, free training in the “Web Design” course from “Umschool Academy” with the curators' support (nominal cost of training - 35,000 rubles, no cash equivalent is paid);
• second and third places: smart speaker VK Capsule with voice assistant Marusya, free training in the “Web Design” course from “Umsschool Academy” with the curators' support (nominal cost of training - 35,000 rubles, no cash equivalent is paid);
• fourth – fifth places: smart speaker VK Capsule with voice assistant Marusya;
• sixth – tenth places: annual subscription to the VK Music service.

All marathon participants will be held a master class on video journalism. It will be conducted by DSc in Philology Alla Mikhailovna Shesterina, professor at the Higher School of Television of Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov.

Video requirements:

1. use of special audio in VK Clips to create a video (as an option, use of a special template in VK Clips). The sound and a special template will become available on 27 March on the competition page in VK Clips using the hashtag #мойлюбимыйвуз, as well as in the official community of the online school “Umschool” on VKontakte;
2. presence of a plot: the video should be built in the form of a story about your favorite features of university life;
3. duration: up to 3 minutes;
4. visual design: bright, attractive design can include both location and interior photography, costumes, visual effects, justified by the plot of the video;
5. technical parameters: resolution 1080×1920 pixels, vertical orientation;
6. the presence of a splash screen and/or description under the video with information about the name of the marathon and the name of the university.
