"I always tell my students: a building can be made of wood, bricks or concrete, but each of them has a foundation. There are a great number of foundation types, including pile and strip foundations, slab or artificial foundations. You can't lim it yourself to formulas, there are a lot of uncertainties in this science, and consequently a lot of problems that need to be solved. That's what appeals to me. I am also attracted by the connection to real cases, which you can feel and see their results. I still have my rubber boots in my car so that I can go down into the pit at any moment if necessary," told Professor Mangushev.
The exhibition will be open in the reading room of the SPbGASU Library (room 217) until 30 November 2021. Opening hours: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Welcome to the exhibition!
