Agreement on cooperation in civil engineering is signed

According to Prof. Dietmar Mähner, at the beginning of training, undergraduates undergo general training, and then choose one of the following areas: construction site management, engineering of building structures, transportation, and management of other resources. After the Bachelor’s degree program, they can enter the Master’s degree program. There are dual undergraduate programs similar to Russian employer-sponsored education: many companies are interested in university-trained specialists for their needs. Today, about 1,500 students study here under such programs.

The cooperation agreement concluded by the two universities provides for the exchange of students, postgraduate students and teachers, and lectures by professors of partner universities. There also is a potential for joint research activities in the future.
