SPbGASU Associate Professors read lectures about urban-planning issues using the example of Saint Petersburg, which are relevant to public space design and former industrial territory development.

Aleksandra Eremeeva: “During the lectures we discussed current issues for many cities, such as pedestrian and bicyclist comfort in urban environment considering increasing amount of cars; public city spaces organization, both indoor and open-air. We received a warm welcome in Sofia thanks to Prof Angel Maznikov, Erasmus coordinator at UACEG faculty of architecture, who organized our stay in Bulgaria. Except studies we also saw the city sights of Sofia and learned its history through ancient Roman, Byzantinesque, Osmanli, socialist and contemporary architecture. UACEG students showed us modern sights of Sofia, for example Business Park and Capital Fort Business Centre".

SPbGASU and UACEG have been cooperating for more than 10 years. The universities annually organize student exchange programmes in Art, Civil Engineering and Geodesy field practices.
