SPbGASU received a letter of thanks from the Association of Foreign Students of Russia

The Association of Foreign Students of Russia expressed its gratitude to the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and personally to Olga Ushakova, associate professor at the department of architectural and engineering constructions, for the training of students of the SPbGASU faculty of civil engineering Elena Romanovsky and Nadezhda Zakusilova, who won the third place in the III Scientific competition in technical areas among foreign students of Russian universities.
The competition ran from February 16 to May 16. It was organized by the Association of Foreign Students of Russia together with the Volgograd State Technical University. Representatives of 13 countries (Bulgaria, Vietnam, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka and South Ossetia), studying at the universities of the Russian Federation, participated.
Scientific works were presented in three categories: "Research work (bachelor's degree, specialist's degrees)", "Research work (master's degree)" and "Research work (postgraduate study)". Based on the results of consideration of applications, the jury recommended 24 works for defense. Projects were defended remotely on the Zoom platform.
Letter of thanks
Bachelor's graduate Elena Romanovsky and fourth-year bachelor's student Nadezhda Zakusilova participated in the nomination "Research work (bachelor's degree, specialist's degree)" with the project "Modular prefabricated buildings".
“In our work, we analyzed modular prefabricated buildings to improve the efficiency of their construction. We have identified the areas in which their use is most beneficial. Participation in competitions gives great experience and a desire to develop in this area,” said Nadezhda Zakusilova.
