TSS teachers took part in the international conference on technosphere safety

Within the 31st International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Agrorus" on September 2, 2022, employees of the SPbGASU department of technosphere safety took part in the International scientific and practical conference "Technosphere safety – current challenges and solutions", organized by the department of safety of technological processes and production of St Petersburg State Agrarian University (SPbSAU).

✔ Earlier, our university passed a competitive selection with an innovative educational project "Modern educational technologies for ensuring labour safety in the construction industry" and was classified as a federal innovation platform. The basis of this educational project is the innovative educational complex ""Smart Labour" training site", and the implementation is entrusted to the teaching staff of the department of technosphere safety.

Participation in the international scientific and practical conference of SPbSAU made it possible to present to the professional community of universities and other participants the goals and objectives of an innovative educational project aimed at creating an innovative methodology that forms a safe behavioral model of workers at construction sites in the industry.

As Andrey Nikulin, head of the department of technosphere safety, noted, the use of augmented and/or virtual reality technologies in training on labour protection and safety will increase interest in obtaining knowledge, motivation for safe work, and thereby reduce industrial injuries at construction sites.
