The teachers of the department actively cooperate with leading construction and design organizations, government agencies, providing consulting services on issues of organizational and technological design and construction. The practical experience gained is used in teaching activities.
The Department of Construction Management is graduating. The department offers master's and PhD programs. Our graduates hold senior positions in construction companies, take part in the construction of unique and socially significant buildings and structures.

Welcome to the webpage of the Department of Construction Management, which appearance dates back to 1976 after the division of one of the oldest departments - the Department of Construction Production, founded back in 1901, into the Department of Construction Technology and the Department of Construction Organization, Planning and Management (OPUS). Temporarily, during the first ten months, it was headed by Professor M. A. Weber, and from March 1977 to 1998 - by DSc in Engineering, Professor V. A. Afanasiev, the founder of the St Petersburg (Leningrad) school of the flow organization of construction, which keeps developing thanks to the efforts of professors S. A. Bolotin and L. M. Kolchedantsev, as well as their many students in the direction of improving the methods of organization, scheduling and construction management.
After several reorganizations, the department received its modern name - Construction Management.
Currently, highly qualified teachers work at the department. Many of them have extensive practical experience in the construction of various industrial and civil facilities. More than 75% of the teaching staff have academic titles and degrees, one of them was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Higher Education".
On behalf of the teaching staff of the department, I wish the SPbGASU students to receive in-depth knowledge and quality education. You have taken the right step by choosing a promising and important profession that will allow you to leave a worthy mark on the earth.
