Awards

  • For the project engineering and building of the Church of Spiridon Trimifuntsky at the Neva-Reaktiv plant, Ekaterina Vozniak was awarded the Silver Medal of the Holy Apostle Peter.

Additional information

Born in 1965 in Leningrad.
After graduating in 1988 from the LISI Faculty of Architecture, worked at the Leningrad Zonal Research Institute of Experimental Design (LenZNIIEP), in the personal creative workshop of B. G. Grishko. In 1996 E.R. Vozniak joined the Union of Architects of Russia.
She defended her Ph.D. thesis (in 1996), her doctoral dissertation (in 2017).
Since 1998 she has been working at the Department of Architecture. Currently, she is a professor at the SPbGASU Department of Architectural and Urban Planning Heritage. Author of more than 50 scientific articles, including those in journals peer-reviewed by the Higher Attestation Commission and included in the SCOPUS system. Based on the dissertation materials, the monograph "Fundamentals of the theory of architectural forms of historical buildings", textbooks "Type composition" (2011), "Architecture of Orthodox churches in St Petersburg" (2012), "Reconstruction of a public building" (2013), "Restoration design" (2013) were written.
As a supervisor, she conducted introductory practices for students with trips to Suzdal, Vladimir, the Trinity-Sergius Lavra, Vologda.
