The Department of Intercultural Communication of the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering announces the translation contest “Discover the World of Translation 2023” for SPbGASU students. The contest is open for students with an advanced level of English proficiency, as well as students of the Translator in Professional Communication program. The contest is held in two categories:

Nomination 1. Translation of popular science text from English into Russian
Nomination 2. Translation of scientific and technical text from English into Russian

Contest participants can choose any nomination or participate in both. Competitive works will be accepted from 25 to 30 September, 2023. The results of the contest will be summed up in October 2023. Competitive tasks can be downloaded on the SPbGASU website on the page of the Department of Intercultural Communication.

All participants and winners of the contest will be granted certificates.
