We are glad to see you at the St Petersburg State University of Civil Engineering, one of the oldest universities in Russia The SPbGASU Faculty of Civil Engineering, in its class and direction, is one of the best faculties among the universities of St Petersburg and the entire North-West. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering, training is carried out at a high professional level in the basic specialties of the construction complex, bachelor's, specialist's, master's, PhD and doctoral programs are being implemented, taking into account the latest achievements in the theory and practice of construction.

The educational process at the faculty is organized using the rich educational and methodological and scientific and industrial base, educational and computing centers, inter-departmental laboratories and research centers, a modern fleet of computer and multimedia equipment.

The faculty has 9 departments, seven are graduating, about 130 full-time teachers, of which more than 70 percent have academic degrees and titles. The faculty has three corresponding full members (academicians) of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAACS), 23 DSc holders, 18 professors, five visiting professors, 120 PhD holders of engineering sciences, associate professors. A significant part of the teachers are SPbGASU graduates. The faculty does a lot of work on the preparation of scientific and pedagogical personnel of the highest qualification in doctoral and postgraduate studies. The faculty has two active dissertation councils - 24.2.380.04 and 24.2.380.01. In 2022, 10 dissertations were defended.

In 2023, the teachers of the faculty prepared and published more than 500 articles in the journals of the Higher Attestation Commission, 60 of them together with students.

Currently, more than 3,000 students study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, including 176 international students (from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Syria, Afghanistan, African and Latin American countries). Faculty students take an active part in many forms of international cooperation, such as the double degree program, summer and winter scientific schools, summer language schools, student exchanges programs and more. Sports and cultural extracurricular activities are popular. After the pandemic period, the tradition of holding the All-Russian competition "Pasta Builder" has been resumed.

The faculty cooperates with many major construction organizations and manufacturers of building materials, traditionally actively participates in the real design and construction process in St Petersburg. Among the partner organizations of the faculty are Etalon, LSR Industrial and Construction Group, KNAUF, CJSC PO Vozrozhdenie, SETL CITY, Glavstroy SPb, TsDS, RBI Holding, KVS and many others.
